Booking terms & conditions

Please note that we require your card details to guarantee any booking. A deposit is not required for accommodation bookings unless otherwise stated in the package details.

Our cancellation policy for Cottages is 14 days with pre-payments in full required 14 days prior to your day of arrival.

All rates include VAT and are subject to change without notice. All charges will be made in GBP.

Payments are requested to be via debit or credit cards, cash will not be accepted.

A discretionary service charge of 5% will be added to your total accommodation bill.

Catering

With a kitchen and a range of appliances, our cottages provide flexibility for you and your guests. Alternatively, we have an excellent room service menu available. Full English breakfast is available in Walled Garden Restaurant from 7.30am – 10.30am from Monday to Sunday and cannot be delivered.

Restaurant Hywel Jones, Walled Garden Restaurant and the other public areas are subject to availability.

Housekeeping

All bedrooms will be refreshed daily with clean linen and towels. Should you wish to have a full housekeeping service (cleaning of the entire cottage including the kitchen), this is available for a fee of £100 per clean.

There is a £35 charge per dog per day. Dogs receive water and food bowls as well as bedding, fleeces and towels.

To keep pets and guests happy, the following guidelines have been put in place:

• Maximum two dogs are allowed per cottage
• Dogs aged below 1 are not permitted
• We have a large number of horses which are either in paddocks or being ridden throughout the estate. Please be respectful and keep your dogs on a lead when exploring the estate

• All pets need to be fully up to date with vaccinations
• Dogs are not permitted in the main hotel with the exception of the reception area
• Dogs are not permitted in the Walled Garden Restaurant but they are allowed in the bar and terrace area
• You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog whilst in the grounds and woodlands
• You are responsible for any damage or noise disruption to other guests caused by your dog and will be charged for any such damage. An additional night’s room charge will be applied should deep cleaning of your room be necessary.

Babysitting:

Sit back and relax with some child-free time whilst knowing that your littles ones are in safe hands. We have partnered with Sitters who provide award-winning childcare to your hotel room door.

Hotel Etiquette

• Our Walled Garden Restaurant welcomes children of all ages and our Michelin-starred Restaurant Hywel Jones welcomes children from the age of 5 years old
• At our Spa, children under the age of 16 years need to be supervised by an adult and are permitted to use the 20-metre swimming pool between 9am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm. Please note that the heat and the hydrotherapy experiences are not appropriate for guests under 16 years of age.
