We’re delighted to announce that our Hywel Jones Restaurant Manager, Ellie Dimes, has been awarded Best Restaurant Manager of the year in the Hotel Catey Awards 2023. At the age of 16, Ellie got her first job within a hotel restaurant, and she thoroughly enjoyed what she did. So she ended up going to university to study hospitality management at The Edge Hotel School in Colchester. She worked in all departments but ended up realising food and beverage was the right department for her. At Lucknam Park hotel, she started as a Chef De Rang and now she the Restaurant Manager of Restaurant Hywel Jones.
